What families tell us

Distance makes everything harder.

Time zones, missed calls and second-hand information can make it hard to know what’s really happening.

I only hear about appointments after they happen.
I can’t fly back every time something changes.
I need someone I can trust to be there.

All FAQs
Does my parent need to agree?

Yes. We work with the patient’s authorisation and an agreed family contact, respecting their choices and autonomy.

How will updates work across time zones?

We agree a channel and rhythm at the start, and provide regular updates as appropriate to your package, within our working hours.

Is this 24/7 support?

No. AAHC doesn’t provide emergency, urgent or 24/7 support. We’ll help you put a clear plan in place for out-of-hours situations.
